| Sensei Series Eighth Brick Isolated DC/DC Converters Deliver 30A at 75 Degrees Celsius with no Derating |

FDK Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange 1st Section: Code 6955) introduces the first eighth brick products in its Sensei
Series of isolated dc/dc converters with the announcement of the FPER48T converters that provide 30 amperes (A) of output
current at regulated voltages of 3.3 to 1.2 volts (V) with little or no derating at elevated temperatures. With a 48Vdc
input and 400 LFM (2m/s) airflow, the FPER48T converters deliver full-rated output current at ambient temperatures up to
75 and 85 degrees Celsius at output voltages of 3.3V and 1.2V, respectively, without the need for heat sinks. These converters
are designed for Intermediate Bus Architecture (IBA) and Distributed Power Architecture (DPA) in telecommunications, data
processing, computing, and storage applications.
The 30A FPER48T converters of the Sensei Series operate from a 36Vdc to 75Vdc input, and are available in standard output
voltages of 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V, 1.5V and 1.2V. They are offered in a 2.30 x 0.90 inch (58.4 x 22.8 mm) industry-standard
eighth brick footprint and pin-out, and have a low body profile of 0.421" (10.7mm), making them particularly suitable
for high density card-rack applications.
Standard features include input under-voltage lockout (UVLO), output over-current protection (OCP), output over-voltage
protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), remote output voltage sense, and output voltage trim using
industry-standard trim equations. The FPER48T converters meet the basic insulation requirements of EN60950 and feature
input to output dc isolation of 1500V.

All Sensei Series products are RoHS compliant. They are manufactured using FDK's state of the art in-house manufacturing
processes and systems in Japan. In quantities of 1,000 pieces, the 30A FPER48T converters are priced at $37.00. Samples
